Time with the Lord...........Healthy Eating
Christian Yoga...............Proper Rest
I have to say I have never been much into
New Year Resolutions
but I am reading the book
The Resolution for Women by Priscilla Shirer
from the authors of The Courageous
and one of the comments that I have highlighted
in my book says:

A fatigued, unhealthy body will not have the
energy to make it through the day.
Skills and mental capabilities that have been dulled
and left unattended will not keep you sharp enough
to be of full use to your family and loved ones,
Therefore, making time for what I call
"Good, Self~Care"
is not luxury
its Necessity

Some of you that have followed me
for a little while have read of my struggles
with Colitis.
I was told years ago that I need to consider
a Gluten free diet..
but now I feel it is a necessity, not a luxury.

So my New Years resolution is as the picture above.

Morning time with the Lord
Eating Good
Christian Yoga ( I ♥ it )
and
Proper Rest.

I plan to be around for my grandchilds wedding
so it is time to start putting myself on the
 To Do List

I have done better about it in the past,
but am easy swede to skipping or ignoring
the things i need for me..
so I pray that God will continue to
show me what he wants for me
and to keep me healthy and happy
and with that I can continue to be
The Heart of my Home.
Share with me some of  your tips
to staying healthy and happy.

HI Karen,

I went gluten -free back on September 1st...and then at the beginning of December started the GAPS diet..also gluten-free but specifically targeted for people with auto-immune disorders or mood disorders. I have a minor form of colitis, as I've shared with you in the past ;) :) I'm starting to blog about it...and feel free to email me anytime if you have questions. I'd definitely pray that God will bring a good naturpath or someone else you're way who is an expert in the gluten free lifestyle :) :) I'm starting to see things in my body correct themselves, that doctors told me could never be healed... :)

Happy New Year to you and your family. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather ;)

Hi Karen, I've been meaning to stop by & see you since you first left me a comment. What a great blog you have here. These goals sound great. I didn't even know there was such a thing as Christian yoga. Cool! Best wishes for a great 2012.

Warmly, Michelle
