Watch and Pray

Fear attacks everyone at some time.
It is Satan's way of tormenting us
and preventing us from going forward
so we can not enjoy the life Jesus died
to give us.

Fears are not realities, they are:
False Evidence Appearing Real.

But if we accept the fears that Satan offers and give it a voice,
we open the door for the enemy and close the door of God.
Satan seeks and weakens us through fear,
but God strengthens us as we fellowship with Him in prayer.

We must watch and be alert to the attacks the enemy
launches against our minds and emotions. When these attacks
are detected, we should pray immediately.
We may think the attack will go away, but we must remember
that it is when we pray that the power is released against the enemy,
not when we think about praying -- later,

And shutting the door to fear by faith will produce more
Joy and Peace for your everyday living.

I love this post! I know that the enemy also likes to put stumbling blocks in our way as we seek to get closer & grow more in our relationship with Christ. Pray Pray Pray such great advice!! It's funny I often hear people say, "well all that's left to do is pray", as if prayer is our last resort. no no no ;o) Prayer should always be first and foremost!

Great post!! Yes I can definitely feel it when I don't pray like I should. I know it has to be the devil getting that foothold and trying to pull me away!

Hi Karen, I'm hanging in there by the grace of God :) The Lord just keeps speaking to me in small quiet ways that He is for me and He will fight for me- also to wait and be patient. Anything I can pray for you? Have a great evening- hope you get to relax :)

Great post, great SCripture and great photo :) :) My dad and I are going through a difficult time being layed off from work. It's not that that is scary sometimes...but not knowing what the future holds...What a great reminder to keep our eyes pointed towards God. He'll take care of us. He's faithful and He always keeps His promises to us :) :) :)

Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

How WONDERFUL the LORD is! "Greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world!" WE must continually guard our thoughts and think biblically. I appreciate your exhortation to pray...NOW, not later! :)

Blessings,
Camille
