A day out...

Well as you know we have been so busy
with the move and all.
We decided to take the weekend and ENJOY it a bit..
So we headed just about 25 min. north to
St Augustine, Fla..

When John and I remarried 6 or 7 yrs ago, this is where
we came for our second honey moon..
and we had such a nice time..
Love the history of this place..

Every where you look there is
Bed and Breakfast...
One of my Favorite things..
I just love them..
I will find a B &B any time
we go some where , rather
than a hotel..

Tyler and I with one of the horse and carriages..
This horses name was Rummy...

John and I with another horse,
The driver let me feed him..
This horse has a sweet tooth,
He likes cracker jacks...lol

We were on top of the Spanish Fort
when off in a distance on the other side of
town was this huge cross..
Isnt it beautiful..!!

Well it was a nice outing
and much needed..
I knew that if we stayed home today
we would end up working..

And I was right cause as we
speak,,my hubby is out in the garage
building shelves for his tools..

But the day out was very nice..

Wish us luck..
We are trying a new church
tomorrow morning..

Loved the great pictures of your day out.

Hope your "church try out" tomorrow is successful. Those are always a little uncomfortable, even when the people are welcoming - it is just hard to feel at home in a new church.
Praying this will be a warm and welcoming place for you.

I love St. Augustine! The history, the quaint town, the ocean. What could be better? We almost moved to that area a few years ago! I still wonder what it would have been like! Maybe someday?!
I'm glad you enjoyed the day...hope your new church will be a good fit for you. Enjoy and thanks for your kind words of encouragement! xo
