Are we living in Redemptive Love Life?

1Peter 2:21~23
To this you were called, because Christ suffered
for you, leaving you an example, that you
should follow in his steps.

(22)He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth.

(23) When they hurled their insults at him,
he did not retaliate, when he suffered,
he made no threats
Instead , he entrusted himself to him
who judges justly..

Do we live a
 Repempted Love Life?
I was listening to Marriage Today
w/ Jimmy and Karen Evans,
and her are the tips he gave,
#1
We cant sin ,
even if we have been sinned against..
the scripture above tells us to follow
Jesus example..
Just because some one sins against us
hurts our feeling , or just simply treats us
wrongly,, it does not give us the right to
retaliate...

#2
We Cant use our mouth for Revenge..

The verse above tells us:
(23)When they hurled their insults at him,

he did not retaliate, when he suffered,
he made no threats

1Peter 3
That they may be won over,
without words but by the
behavior of their wives
It should be that of your inner self,
the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit.
which is of great worth to the Lord

#3
Have Faith in God and Trust Him for the Results..
We have the right to say what we need to say
but in LOVE,
And then
(now here is the Hard part)
Let it go.....
After all, Who is the Enforcer?
Its not US,, We know we cant
force some one to change,, nag them into submission
But with Love , God can soften their hearts
from the inside out..

#4
We have to be willing to do the Right thing
even when it feels like someone is
doing you wrong..

99% of problems in Marriage happens because of what people say.

Here we go back to the law of
Reeping and Sowing..
You can not use unrighteous means
and expect a pleasurable
Harvest..
And planted seeds , take time to grow
and flurish..

So lets turn it over to God
Get in our prayer closets
and its okay to let God know if
someone has hurt our feelings
if we feel lonely or discouraged.
He knows how we feel, and he cares.
But we have to let him do HIS work
in Us and in Others..

In the mean time..
Keep Praying..
Be Commited to Save our Family and Marriage
Trust God
He knows what his is doing..
And
Lets Live a Redemptive Love Life..

Hey sister, thank you for dropping by today . . . I don't know if I told you that we've moved 6 times in the past 12 years . . . always across country, always away from friends, family, and places that I loved. It is hard. But, through it all, God taught me that He is TRULY with me always and that He wants me to embrace change so that I might grow. Those times, which were often in deep valleys, were some of the most intimate times I had with God. However, I didn't really realize it, until I looked back. He was closer to me than He had ever been. Now, I want to run back to those moments desperately . . . now He's teaching me to let go of the past mountains and trudge through new valleys. UGH! He doesn't want me worshiping any mountain for too long. :) So, hang in there, pull up a seat next to God's throne . . . He's got some amazing things He wants you to learn and some grace He wants to give you. ;)

LOVED your post today . . . God taught me these principles years ago . . . boy it was tough medicine to take! But, once I understood that it was Christ in me whom the enemies were hurling insults and persecutions towards, I thought, "Wow, NOTHING I can say or do will top what judgment the Supreme Judge will hand down." I learned to let it go . . . and since then, the enemy has stopped using that tactic for the most part . . . he realized he wasn't dealing with "me" anymore . . . He was dealing with Christ in me!!!

BIG hugs and lots of love!!!!!!!!!!
Cherie

Now there is a solemn reminder - "we cannot use our mouth for revenge."

I got a phone call this week from someone who has no been kind to me, and I really had to remind myself to be "patient and longsuffering" - because Jesus says so, not because I felt like it.

Thanks for sharing these good reminders. ...Marsha

Amen. Whoever said marriage is a 50/50 proposition apparently wasn't married!

I've been working on a rough draft of a post on my blog that originally was just about adventure but writing it made me see just how selfish I was at that point in time of my life. It's going to be both fun and also humbling once I get it up.

I'm so glad you stopped by to visit me. Looking forward to getting to know you better!

A Prayer From Jesus

Jesus I brought this prayer to your people and they rejected it. So I added a comment on the importance of this prayer and your plan of Salvation, again no responses. Finally with fire and brimstone, mentioned their destination, it was as if they could not even hear.

Jesus am I to be a profit as unto Jeremiah or like unto Jonah. I fell like Jonah, no matter what I want to do, You all ways command me to do this small task, deliver Your prayer. Except the results are as unto Jermiah. When not one obeyed when You said, they will find safety out of the city.

Jesus, you created me as neither but one of power, in Jesus NAME. Devil in the NAME of JESUS I bind you in Jesus name. Release your hold on those who will be called, son's of Jesus. I command you in JESUS NAME to be gone from all who read this post, in Jesus Name. For the glory is yours alone Jesus. I lift your Name up in Praise now, Lord Jesus. Open my eyes in Jesus Name and let me receive from You, this very hour in JESUS NAME.
.
- A PRAYER FROM JESUS -

This prayer is from Jesus that we may hear from Him, that He may speak to our hearts. It only consist of three simple steps.

1, We need to read one scripture. This will focus us in the word that brings everlasting life.

2, Since this prayer is from Jesus we need to direct our prayer to Him personally. Too often Christian focuses they're prayer's to G_D or Father. Scripture proclaims, that Jesus should be the focus of our prayer.

3, The simplest part of this Prayer is to ask Jesus one question. Please, all that is required for this question is that it should be simple. Let Jesus Himself finish the question when He gives you that understanding through this prayer.

The PRAYER

A) The scripture that is the focus of this prayer is "ACTS 2:38". It's not necessary to do any study into this scripture. Jesus will give you the understanding that will resonate in your heart. Just read Acts 2:38, keep it in your heart and take this one scripture to prayer

B) The most important part of this prayer is that we need to direct our prayer directly to Jesus. If you normally would say Father in your prayer, change your focus from the Father to Jesus, by lifting Jesus name up every time you would normally use Father in your prayer.

C) Maybe the hardest part of this prayer is the question that we need to ask Jesus. For man is always trying to understand the question, instead of listening to the answer. The simplest question is all that is required.
Simply ask Jesus, 'WHY'?

For those who are obedient
