Ladies,
I dont know about you ,
but sometimes I can be like this picture of
splashing coffee...
My mind will be filled with thoughts, and
if tosseled about,,
I just spill out and over flow at the tongue..
Expressing my thoughts !!!
God has keeps bringing up
the fact that I must become a
Woman of Carefully Chosen Words...
He who guards his /her mouth and tongue
keeps himself from calamity.
Proverbs 21: 23
When words are many, sin is not absent,
but he who holds his tongue is wise
Proverbs 10:19
Rather, it should be that of your inner self,
the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit,
Which is of great worth in God's Sight..
1 Peter 3:4
But what I need to learn to do is:
Take my inner most thoughts and concerns
in prayer to God ...
And accept his "will" on the matter ,,
no matter what that looks like....
Wheither it is what I would of wanted ,
or even dreamed of....
But to Become a Woman of Joy,
Prayful and Thankfulness
Be Joyful always,
Pray continually,
giving Thanks in all circumstances,
for this is Gods will for you in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for this. My son was just asking me about the power of words yesterday and I was looking for some verses for him.
Karen,
Couldn't agree with you more. Just today I wrote about a few words my mother spoke to me once that still bless me to this day.
Wishing you a day filled with Sonshine - Marsha at Spots and Wrinkles

What a beautiful and thoughtful post Karen! Oh how often I have regretted words!! Isn't it wonderful that the LORD forgives and helps us grow?? Oh that I would learn more quickly. :)
