Do you face your Giant w/God or alone.

In Church today we learnt about "Fighting our Giants"
Everyone has their own Giants.. At least one if not more.
Satan makes sure of that.

Some of us has the same Giant in our lives that we fight daily,
Addictions, fears, doubts, loneliness ...

Others of us have different Giants show up
in our lives to just mess things up.
But dont be mistaken,, we ALL fights our GIANTS !

Job 1:7 The Lord said the Satan, Where have you come from?
Satan answered the Lord, "From roaming through the earth and
going back and forth in it"
The story of David and Goliath in 1st Samuel, tells us that David was a
young boy who faced his Giant..
This Giant was intimidating, huge, and was not going away..

1st Samuel 17:16 For forty days the Giant came forward "every" morning and evening and took his stand.

This Giant came every morning and every evening, he came just to
remind David that he was not going away,,and to break down Davids spirit
and to intimidate him.
Which is what Satan tries to do to us every day.. and if he can get us to
second guess our selves or doubt God for ONE second,, he is happy.
But David said to Goliath.
1st Samuel 17:45 You (Goliath) come against me with sword and spear,
but I come against you In the Name of The LORD ALMIGHTY!!!.
On this day the Lord will hand you over to me :)

What ever your Giant is in your life and mine.. we need to face it
In The Name of The Lord God Almighty!!!
Face the Giant with the Word of the Lord who Loves us,
Never give up. We need to be as persistent as Satan is ,
Getting up every morning and go to bed at night,
knowing that God is with us and will never leave us nor forsake us.
And that we are not facing this Giant alone..
There is nothing in our lives that God in Not capable to take care of..
And when we face the Giants in our lives,
Others in our families will see God in us, and will learn to face their own Giants
In the Name of "their" Lord God Almighty too..

My Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father
I come to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
And I Thank You for never sending me out on my own
to face the trials of this world.. Because without you I
am nothing. And I know that what ever comes my way,
you walk beside me and you have given me the Holy Spirit
to guide me and to remind me of your word, which is the
best weapon against Satan. (Who I call "the Chump"!)
I plead the blood of Jesus over me and my family today
and know that you are always with me..
I love you Lord, Amen
