Trying Times... Again...

My family is going through a time in life that I just dont
quit understand..
You know how some times it seems like you go through the same
trials over and over again.. And you know that
obviously you are in the Re-Do mod , cause God
doesnt feel like you quit "Got it" last time,
or maybe you were heading down the right path,
but missed a turn or something..

As the "Heart of the Home"
(which is what I call the wife ) I try to remain very
positive and supportive, but have learnt very quickly
that I can not do that on my own power.
I am quick to let the worrys of this world get the best of me,
and the gray cloud start to form over my head. So I must lean
on the Lord and Holy Spirit to keep me focused.
But it is a moment to moment requirement..

John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

(I rely on the Holy Spirit to remind me of the promises of God)

John 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

I trust the Lord, and his plans, even though I do not
always understand..

Isaiah 55:8-10 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

But I gotta tell ya.. I sure hope we get it right this time,
cause worrying about employment is not the life I want to live.
Nor is it the life I know that God has promised us.

Ecclesiastes 8:15
So I commend the enjoyment of
life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the lifeGod has given him under the sun.

And i dont want Satan to be able to make my husband feel less
like "The Head of Our Home", due to a lack of a job..
So I pray for protection over my husband in his mind,
heart and soul..
And I want to be his biggest supporter and encourager.
And help us to work through this trial..

So if you will please keep us in your prayers, and
ask for guidance for us. I would really appreciate it.

I love it when a bunch of prayer warriors can make
Satan shake in his little red boots.. lol

We'll definitly be praying for you. My husband was a union electrician and lay offs were sadly a part of our lives for many years. Some of those times are what we called our "wilderness times". Those are the times we were drawn closer to the Lord because He really was all we had. I see you live in Florida! One of our most memorable times was when we lived there for a year after a very long lay off. I never cried so much but I look back at it as one of those "footprints" moments. He was carrying us through it.
He is carrying you too!
Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose

God Bless My New Friend...this is just a season and we expect good things because you are a God who works in "Suddenly-s"!
-In Jesus Name Amen
I'll be sure to keep in touch,

Awe, sweet heart! I'm so sorry that you guys are going through this. I pray that God carry you all completely and provides your needs for you during this time. I have had many people in my life in the last few years that have gone through the same thing and they will be the first to tell you that if it had not been for complete faith and trust in Him, they would not have been so blessed as they were. God does not show up late, always on time. Keep your heart and mind on his grace and he will walk you through this. I will pray for you and yours and if there is anything you can do for your husband, it is to make him feel as though he is still head of the home. Financial woes do not remove that fact and if he can not carry you financially, know that God can, so that your husband can focus spiritually.

Hi Karen,
I am so sorry that you both are facing this trial right now, but please know that you will be in our daily prayers. satan wants us , God's children to doubt God, but we serve an on time God, and He has not forgotten you, He knows exactly where you are and every thing about your circumstance.
The scriptures you have shared are some of my favorite, and have brought me through so many trying times When we were facing a very strong trial some years back, God gave me this one in Philippians 4;6-7. Also Proverbs 3;5-6, I memorized them and found such comfort., and found such peace. Now may the God of Peace surround you with His comfort, love and peace, and may you hold on to the promises that you have been given in his Word.
Much love and prayers ,

Karen, I will add you and especially your husband to my prayer list right away! We have had a long financial challenge in a different way and I have been able to see the blessings coming forth. You will too. It is difficult for sure...but God is good and will be there in every way!

Blessings to you, Carrie

I've been praying for you and your husband. My husband was unemployed for 11 months at one point in our marriage. It was a difficult time, but as I look back, I can see God's hand on us. He did a new work in both of us that led to blessings beyond what we asked for. So...stay encouraged. God knows where you are and what you need. You are His kids and He wants to take care of you! Know that your prayers are being joined by ours!

you asked what we had in common. My husband and I were almost divorced (separated about 2 years, and remarried/renewed our marriage!
