Visiting a new Church

Girlfriend's...
I want to start by saying Thank You
for your prayers for me and my family
to find a new home church..

Today my son and I visited a
church called
Lifecoast
http://lifecoast.org/
And we loved it..
We were received with a very
warm and friendly welcome..
Tyler was instantly taken and introduced
to some of the youth and the youth leader.
I was introduced to many very friendly woman
of the church and some leaders of the woman's groups.
We met both pastors at the door,,
they were very welcoming and took
time to make us feel like family..

The worship was very heart felt,by both the worship team
and the congregation.
The sermon was very enlightening and
spoke in regards to life today...
For me...that is very important.
I love reading the history of the bible,
but I am a Now Girl..
I like to know what God purpose is for my life
...Today....

They seem to have a lot going on..
And excited about reaching the community..
And isnt that what are purpose is about?
And loving people "where they are"

So we are very excited in the thought that
this could possibly become our new church.
My husband will be able to go with us next week
and Im sure he will enjoy it..
But it is important to me that the
entire family enjoys where we
worship..

My son will be trying out the Youth group
Thursday evening and I will be visiting the
Beth Moore Study that one of the woman is
leading on Thurs morning..

Going somewhere new is never easy
even when everything goes right..
but this felt very good,,

So continue to pray God's Will on our family
and his guidance to where he would have
us to serve him..

Hi Karen,
I'm glad that you were able to find a church to go to today. I'll be praying that God will direct you to the place your family should go. I'm also praying that the church will be a good Bible-teaching church, too :) :) It's sounds like you really enjoyed yoruself today. That's wonderful :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Woo-hoo!! I'm so thrilled for you Girl! That is Awesome that you went to such an involved and outgoing church where Jesus is welcomed! Love that for you all!! I especially relate to and love how you put it, you're a Now Girl-me too! A church that is involved with the community- that is like the icing on the cake. I'm so happy that you and Tyler had such a great time. I pray that you all make loads of amazing friends there!
Have a great day!

xoxo,
Ellen

The church sounds nice. I love ladies Bible studies and am a leader. Like Beth Moore. Let us know what they are studying...and how you liked it.

I like the new blog design.
