Well after taking down the Christmas decor,,
then its back to putting up the regular home decor,
giving my family a nice warm welcoming
place to come home to..
I decided to go with a
little more "country " feel this time
I was raised country,
but my style of decorating has always
been a bit more
contemporary , floral and photographs
This is the area above my stove top
I collect Willow Trees figurines ..
I have about 25 of them now..
you can see 2 of them next to this
Give Thanks plaque..
My favorite decor....
MY FAMILY !
Updated photos of this past year..
My kitchen window... over looking the pool area
My daily devotional,
a precious Tea cup set my sister gave me,
a doily of my mom's
and a picture of my sister and I.
Well the house decor is back to normal,
and I am excited to see what God has in store for us in
"2011"
and for you too....

Looks beautiful and I love the simplify sign...so my word for this time in life. Blessings
Oh, I LOVe country..you can do romantic country, country Victorian etc...there's tons of ways to decorate country. That heart=shaped "kitchen" sign was my personal favorite!!! Lovely!!! I also loved the teacup with matching saucer, doily and the photo of you and your sister. Another sweet blogger friend sent me some pieces of china...enough for one (Me)...so I can have a nice cup of tea with my devotions. She has the same china pattern in her kitchen!!! So now I"ll think of her whenever I have tea :) :) Karen, your home is lovely....!!! Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
Karen,
Your decorations look lovely. We are almost back to normal, but I do still have one forlorn looking poinsettia sitting on a stair. Just hate to toss them until they wilt. :)
