First Football Game

My son Tyler is playing
High School Football this year..
Yea, like its not hard enough
for me see my baby in high
school already,, but he goes
out and get himself on the
football team..
He has played baseball since
he was 4 yrs old.. NEVER a
day of football, but he gets a
flyer and off he goes to try
out for football .
Thursday night was their first
game.. and he was on the side
lines along with about 20 other
boys through the first 3 quarters,
last quarter he kept saying
"Coach , put me in !"
And coach would say No~ Long
your not ready yet.. but
Tyler convinced him and at the
4th quarter , coach put him in..
and he was Fierce !!!
He was in for 4 plays and he made
1 sack, 2 tackles..
Coach just laughed when the game was over,
and patted him on the shoulder..
They won 28-14 Go Bruins!!!!
The whole family was there to cheer him on..
John couldnt sit still.. He tried sitting in the
bleachers for a while but then ended up down
at the fence ..He has been to every one of
Tylers practices.. and has been very supportive
of Tyler..
Breleigh had a great time playing on the
bleachers.
And when she needed down time she
was ready to lay on "Pa's " shoulder..

Next game is this Thursday..
It was lots of fun,, and we look forward to
the next one..

It's very nice to meet you! My son played football his last two years in high school! Good times! Also some very anxious times! Lol

I read your bio and busted out crying. My husband and I are going through a divorce after twenty years of marriage. I feel in shock everyday of my life!

God bless you! Thanks for stopping by!

Tyler looks great and it is wonderful to see a great loving supportive family. My hubby is American and we went to watch a game of football here last Sunday. Gosh its different to the USA, its so rough and no protectipon is worn. But it was my first time and I enjoyed the game. Bless you and your family.

We raised three sons so I've been to many basketball and football games. Yes, it is fun when they play and do well.

So glad you stopped by my blog. Good to meet you and I hope to get to know you better.

We had a friend who pastored in Bradenton many years ago--Mike and Carol Brumley, their children were Kendall and I think her brother was Mike, Jr.--can't remember for sure.

Sweet post!

Yeah, Tyler...good job out on the field!!! Karen, that's such a cool story...and I loved hearing how your son really gave it everything he had out there!! He really showed his coach, didn't he? I thought the p h otos of your family out there supporting him were so cool...!!!!...and the one of Breleigh on her "pa's" shoulders...so cute!!! I'm not scheduled for very many hours at work this week, so I should have more time to read all of my favorite blogs :) :) Have a great Labor Day weekend. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Congratulations to your son and his team. Where does the time go? Both of my girls are in their 20's now--I don't know where that time has gone either. I love that the whole family was there. Thanks for visiting me!! Take care.

Thanks for stopping by my blog...I loved those shoes also...but I usually pay a price if I wear something like that too long...LOL

My high school son started back at baseball after three years off...he had been playing basketball. He is our fifth child to play high school sports and I so enjoyed watching it again...now I don't have grandkids yet, but our four year old loved watching.

Your pictures are great...your testimony even better

Blessings and hope to see you again at my blog...will stop by yours also!

Hi Karen,
Thanks for stopping by and saying "hi." I've enjoyed reading your blog and I will be back. Loved seeing your son and your family supporting him in the stands! My family was here for a week this summer and we loved being together. When we all live in different states it is hard to get everyone in the same place at the same time! :)
