What are your talents..

What are your talents?
What are you good at?
What comes so naturally to you like breathing?
Have you been blessed with a voice like an angel?
Can you Bake good enough that you should be on
Food Net Work Challenge..
What do you do so easily, that you dont even
have to think about it when you do it..?..

Now my next question is..
Are you using your
God given talent, to glorify him..

Now I know what you are going to say...
Oh ,I dont do (whatever it is) as well as some
one else...

No God Given Talent is Insignificant !

Joseph was a carpenter, yet God used him
to teach his earthly son (Jesus)to be a carpenter.

Noah , wasnt known world wide for his construction
work, yet God saw he talent and asked him to
build the Ark..

Luke was a physician, his talent was being
precise and accurate, and God used him
to write this in the book of Luke

Therefore, since I myself have
carefully investigated everything
from the beginning , it seem good
for me to write an orderly account
for you, so that you may know
with certainty of the things you
have been taught.
Luke 1:1-4

Now as strange as this may sound, one of my
talents is: I never meet a stranger..
I will talk to anyone, and quickly feel
like they are my friend.. I am usually
pretty high spirited and friendly as well
as inviting..

Now I have to say that in my past that
same talent , Satan used this for evil.

But today I have learnt to use it
to Glorify God.. and speak his name
to anyone that I get a chance to.
So although I cant sing, nor bake
a blue ribbon cake.. I am not
shy and I will let everyone who
i come in contact know that I am
a Christian Woman who loves the Lord..
And that if my Lord could love me,
he will certainly love them.

So what is your talent?
And are you using it to Glorify God?

If you are a baker, are you taking a plate of
cookies to a neighbor who doesnt know the Lord.

If your a singer, are you using your talent
to touch someones heart in worship.

If you are great with kids, are you leading
kids that you come in contact with to the
lord..And inviting them to your youth group.

Determine what your Talent is
and use it to Glorify God..
There is a reason he gave YOU that
talent..
And God doesn't make Duplicates..
So dont wait for someone else to do it..

Eph 2:10
For we are Gods Workmanship, created
in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God
prepared in advance for us to do.

Discover your talent, and use it to please God.

Great post! It's just so hard for me to pick a talent.. lol Not saying I have a ton but just saying I'm not sure what it is. I can sew, so maybe that is it. I love sewing and making stuff for Maddie or my friends, so maybe that's mine. =)

Wow, Karen. As you said, your post conincides beautifully with mine. It's hard for us to fathom that God doesn't require what we don't have. He's just asking for what we DO have.

As so vividly demonstrated with the feeding of five thousand, in His hands, a picnic lunch becomes a feast. Just give Him what you have and watch it multiply.

Blessings.

Dear Karen ~ How wonderful that we can do ALL things for HIS glory! Even making the bed or washing dishes can be done for HIM...really, it's true! Thanks for another thoughtful post...might HE be glorified through you and your blogging. :)

Blessings,
Camille

I meet a lot of people, I am a hair stylist, so I think that is one of my talents.God is the Lord of my appointment book. His Heart flows through my hands. And as Gods child I am able to hear with my heart and am able to minister to the needs of my clients. And also God sends hand picked individuals to minister to my heart and to encourage my spirit. Many people come to get their hair done and it turns into a testimony and praise report. The hair styling in all its forms are just a bonus. I am able to share the good news. All for the Glory to God the author and finisher of my faith.
How are you feeling? I hope you are getting better….keeping you in my prayer box.
He knows what you need.
Have a joyful and blessed week,
Virginia
