I have been thinking about the
words we speak about others..
One of my favorite scriptures
is
Ephesians 4:29
Do not let any unwholesome
talk come out of your mouth,
but only what is helpful for
building others up according
to their needs, that it may
benefit those who listen.

I heard it said one day like this:

If you are talking bad about
some one,,consider yourself on
Satan's Team.
For the Lord instructs us to
encourage one another, for
their benefit as well as anyone
else that is listening or looking
at them..
But Satans agenda
is to bring doubt and shame to
anyone he can, and
to enforce it with anyone
who is listening and looking,
and I personally
do not want to allow him to use
me to reach his goal.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Guard my tongue, help
me to encourage and
support my fellow man
unconditionally..
Amen.

Great post Karen.Being in the beauty business unfortunately there is a lot of gossip going around. I always need to be reminded of that and pray not to be part of it.

Hi Karen!

First off, Thank you so very much for your thoughtful and so considerate comment yesterday. Your words so touched my heart, tears slipped away from my eyes - no joke. Thank you.

Secondly, I Love The Fall Look of your blog! And your home decorations, oh wow!! Your home is so lovely and highlighted now with the fall colors.

Last but far from least, your tying life to the scriptures really helps me to focus amid all this crazy life static. Thank you! I have only gotten to read a couple of days so far, but am working my way through them. You truly are inspirational as God speaks through you.

Oh yeah, hope the healing is coming along well for you.

xoxo,
Ellen

Hi Karen,

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for the nice words you wrote to me... Sorry I'm so late in responding, sadly I have not really viewed/ posted or even updated my blog in a while. I wish I could say it was because I have been traveling the world seeing and experiencing new exciting things but the truth is "Life" Life has kept me from blogging...It's been a crazy year:) . I love what you have shared here on Ephesians 4:29... I needed to see this scripture because I was sharing the importance of this just a few weeks ago with my Mom. I will be hiding this scripture in my heart for sure. I would love to hear more from you you can find my e-mail on my blog feel free to e-mail me anytime!

God Bless,
Marcia

Karen,
Thanks for visiting me and leaving such nice comments. I truly appreciate it.
I must admit I catch myself sometimes in the middle of a sentence saying some not so nice things. I need to learn to catch myself before I even utter a word. I am working on it and I am getting better--and that is a nice feeling. Thank you so much for the reminders.
