Great day, but broke my foot...

Well the day started off so good..
I was spending the day with my
grand daughter Breleigh.
We went to The Fountains.
Its a small little water area for
kids, next to a very nice marina.
Well as I was walking around
the play ground my foot slipped
into whole around a tree and
I fell..
I thought i just busted a
blood vessel on the side of my
foot so I just hobbled around
while Breleigh played in the
water, but then it started getting
worse..so we headed home..
But I got some great pictures today
even in the midst of the accident..

Well when I got home my son
drove me to the hospital , to find out
that i broke the small bone that runs
from your pinky toe to your heal.
Never had a broken bone before
so please keep me in your prayers
for quick healing..
Thanks.. God Bless.

Oh Sheila,
So very sorry to hear about your foot! I so understand the frustrations of it. In Feb I fell down my stairs and caught my toes in the banister on the way down. I almost severed my pinkie toe and broke my other 3 along with the side of my foot. It was quite a recovery time. I will certainly be keeping you in my prayers for a speedy recovery!
On a better note the pictures were fabulous! She is so adorable!!
Many blessings to you!

Ouch! My daughter broke the same bone, and she hobbled around on it for two days before we realized it might be broken.
