Hello Ladies,

I lead a woman bible study on Wed nights.
Called "Secrets Transforming you life and marriage."

This is what we learnt about tonight
"Forgiveness"

Forgiveness is NOT optional;
Jesus commanded us to forgive because we cant
enjoy warmth, openness, and connectedness
when we are reminding one another of past
mistakes. Forgiveness must be a continual
act in which we ask for Gods help each time
we feel offended.

Matthew 6:14,15
For if you forgive men when they sin against you ,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive men their sins,
your Father will not forgive your sins.

Thank you Lord for your guidance and
teachings.. For your written word, that
can get us through our day to day
struggles. .

This is so true... and without it can destroy so many marriages. For no one is perfect. :-) Thanks for sharing this reminder.
Blessings, Jill

HI Karen,
I deleted my post and I'm sending it via email. I realize this might be too personal...so anyway, no worries :) :) :) I love this post. Forgiveness is so important to remember. My dad and I both agree that we can't fully realize the forgiveness we have in Jesus Christ until we extend it to others. At least I've found that to be true in my life :) :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

That is so true. Thank you so much for the reminder. I am always more willing to forgive than to forget. That's where I have problems. =(
